The Farmhouse

For this consultancy located in a farmhouse, we have remodeled and redesigned two large scheds into one additional office space. The designated space is used as a flexible workspace, a presentation space, and a space for work party’s and after work drinks on Fridays. It was important to connect the interior with the exterior and to make it a comfortable area for 25-50 people.

A thoughtfully crafted space that seamlessly merges the rustic charm of an Austrian ski lodge with modern functionality.

Responding to the owners' request, the theme chosen for the new space is 'lodge chic.' Drawing inspiration from an authentic Austrian ski lodge, the interior boasts wooden beams on the ceiling, wooden accents throughout, and an outdoor firepit. This combination captures the essence of a cozy Austrian ski lodge, complemented by the incorporation of green and blue hues from the corporate identity.

To maximise the potential of this split-level space, we have created a kitchen area that serves as a flexible bar for work party’s and spans over both levels, offering low seating on one end and high seating on the other end of the bar, fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment. Playing with varying heights, the design features different seating areas at different levels, contributing to a warm and inviting atmosphere. A ski hut was ingeniously installed to provide a quiet space for work calls, enhancing the functionality of the workspace. Additionally, a significant portion of the seating area can effortlessly transform into a presentation room, thanks to custom-built cabinets surrounding the presentation screen.This unique and versatile setting not only caters to the consultancy's day-to-day operations but also provides an inviting backdrop for social gatherings and professional presentations alike.
