We schedule a visit on location with you to view the outdoor space and to discuss your wishes and your budget. We also discuss your outdoor furniture and which pieces you want to keep in your new exterior. We look at your interior design to determine how to connect the interior with the exterior.
Prior to our visit, we ask you to start visualising your new exterior – to think about what you truly want or cannot live without in your outdoor space. Inspirational photos are always welcome.
We ask you to provide us with the ground plan and the measurements of your outdoor space, so we know what we are working with. If you can’t provide a ground plan or the measurements, we can provide these for you at an additional cost.
In this step, we present you with a mood board, samples, and furbishing ideas.
After the visit in which we have discussed all the details, we are going to work out a beautiful concept for your new exterior.
We offer the option to make your exterior come even more to life with a 3D drawing and renders. Literally explore the surroundings of your new environment.
In the design process, we work out a zoning plan, a colour plan, material plan, lighting plan and furniture plan.
In the final step, we present to you the full exterior plan, including prices for the design.
In the last round, we discuss your alterations to the design.

Roeby is the offspring of a small fashion empire. Her ambition to work in the creative field was instilled in her from a young age, which led her to become the youngest creative at Chapters. As a side project, Roeby runs an online vintage living shop, a hobby she shared with her grandfather and named after him. Roeby is creative, chatty and always upbeat.
Joana is the founder of Chapters. She was born in Portugal and rose to her potential in her early twenties, when she became the creative director of an advertising agency whilst she was still in school. Combining work and her studies have shaped Joana to become the multi-talented entrepreneur she is today. She is a closeted shopaholic and loves her bulldogs more than anything. Joana is very driven, dedicated and always thoughtful.
